Ran in the rain to visit a friend at a hospital who'd just given birth.
Welcomed little Mia.
Ran to bar for coffee and beers.
Ran back into car. Considered shanking husband for stupid parking stunt.
Came home and finished 2,000+ word articles just in time for the usual midnight deadline.
Thank God for cupcakes and milk.
Now going to watch Emma.
